I think everyone should read "tuesdays with Morrie", a book by Mitch Albom. It is quite an old book. I bought it only recently because its cheaper now. Its a book about the meaning of life. Morrie giving lessons about life through experiences. A true story. Go read it.

A few quotes from the book:

"a few rules about love and marriage: if you don't respect the other person, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. if you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. if you can't talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. and the biggest one of those values is your belief in the importance of your marriage"

A thing i learned from the book is about regrets. All of us may come to a certain point of time in life and say, i should have done this and that. It should not be about regretting what you have not done. It should be about making the most out of your present and future life. you are only 18 years old once. once you did not do what you wanted at that age, forget it and move on. Think about what you want to do in the next few years and achieve it. And that applies to friends as well. there may be some people you really really don't like. but they are who they are, and you cant really change them. who knows? you may live to regret that you did not forgive them for who they are and what they did.

I'm a fan of Mitch Albom books now.
